On Saturday, June 20th, 2009, the Collingwood Music Festival celebrates the beginning of summer with delicious food and delicious Music For You! This is a Gala fundraiser for the Festival for our 2009 season. Dinner will be catered by Café Chartreuse, and will take place at New Life Church at 6:00 p.m. The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m.
Reviewers have remarked on the Elmer Iseler Singers’ “flawless intonation, rhythmic vitality and great sensitivity to the expressive power of phrasing.” As anyone who attended their concert in 2006, presented by the Collingwood Music Festival, can attest, their music is transformative, lyrical and beautiful and spiritual all at once.
